Club Meeting

October 3, 2012

I.                   Meeting called to order: 5:03 PM by President Lois Loya.

II.                Speaker:

4.      Meeting with Sodexo Board (dates pending, but will be posted in future Minutes).

III.             Officer Reports:

1.      President:

i.                    Photo release forms.

ii.                  Volunteer sheet for Fall Fitness.

iii.                Sheet for White Sands Trip.

2.      Vice President:

i.                    Aggies for Feminism.

ii.                  Meetings at 7:00PM Corbett, 2^nd Floor on Mondays.

iii.                Love Your Body Day October 17^th. Help the Feminism Group tabling?

iv.                New Logo Design (need to be a member of Committee for PR).

v.                  Sign up with Rose today if you’d like to be on the Committee.

vi.                King and Queen for Committee.

3.      Treasurer:

i.                    Looking into banks.

ii.                  Go to Rotaract if you’d like.

iii.                Fundraising Committee (First meeting next week, pending on time Thursday).  

iv.                Will get back to everyone on times and information.

v.                  Sign up for the Committee.

4.      Secretary: None.

IV.             Interesting Information:

1.      Update on Fairy Ball (They already have their prizes).

i.                    Going to meet with the Board (Everything is pending).

ii.                  27^th of October Alameda House.

2.      Halloween Howl (October 31^st) Intramural Fields at 8:00 PM.

i.                    Stonewall is getting involved.

ii.                  Ideas on games and such for kids to play.

3.      White Sands Trip November 10^th.

i.                    Time for leaving is 3:30PM. 

ii.                  Meeting at the Barnes & Noble Parking Lot.

iii.                Bring goodies.

4.      Mean Girls

i.                    Pre-Movie Quiz.

ii.                  Prizes (Possibly): Movie of Mean Girls, etc…

iii.                Accepting ideas as well.

5.      Homecoming King and Queen.

i.                    Winners from Stonewall.

a.       Angie (Queen).

VI.             New Business:

1.      Fall Fitness Volunteering (counts as community service hours for Stonewall).

i.                    From 9:00AM to 1:00PM.

2.      National Coming Out Day October 11^th.

i.                    Coming Out Dinner starts at 6:00 in Taos.

ii.                  Coming Out Stories (No longer than 10mins) starting at 6:30PMish.

iii.                Tabling (Hand out Rainbow Flags) scheduling from 10:00AM to 2:00PM.

4.      Rocky Horror Picture Show Opening soon.
